What is the Range of BMW iX Electric SUV?

On purchasing the BMW iX electric SUV, owners get a 2.3kW, single-phase charger for domestic sockets and an 11 kW AC wall box charger as standard initially to make it easier for customers on the charging front. With a 76.6 kWh twin battery pack, the BMW iX electric SUV claims a range of 425kms on a full charge, that attains a charging of 10 – 80% in flat 31 minutes, if paired with a 150 kW DC fast charging socket, or in 73 minutes when charged on 50 kW DC fast charger. On the normal chargers provided by BMW, the car takes 7 hours for a full charge by the wall box charger and nearly 36 hours of charging on the 2.3 kW unit. BMW also plans to set up DC fast chargers across all its showrooms in the country, so as to enable their EV customer base to get a quick recharge as a pit stop at any nearby dealership thus providing a hassle-free charging experience to the BMW iX electric SUVs owners.
